這件難忘事是趕小偷的事，讓我深刻的記在我頭腦中。放暑假了，可是媽媽還得加班，媽媽在臨走之前告訴我不給陌生人開門，媽媽自己帶鑰匙了自己開門，不能玩火，不能摸煤氣，不能摸電。我說行、行、行、都不耐煩了。媽媽走了，把門鎖的嚴嚴實實的。這下我就自由了，我準備十點寫完作業，然后看一會兒電視，最后做飛機模型。我抓緊一切時間寫作業，忽然聽到嘭嘭的敲門聲，就想起媽媽帶鑰匙了自己開門，心想這會是誰呢?我從門鏡往外看，看見一個戴黑墨鏡的'男子從口袋里拿出一把老虎鉗子正在撬王奶奶家的門，要是他把王奶奶家的門撬開了，那王奶奶家就遭殃了，我不能讓他得逞。
我想到爸爸是警察，爸爸在家里的抽屜里放著一個警笛，我跑過去把它拿出來按了一下，就發出刺耳的聲音,媽媽的愛，小偷以為警察真來了，就妝扮成這個樓的人走了出去。我跑到陽臺看見小偷已經走了，就飛快跑回書桌前又繼續寫作業了。這時媽媽回來了，我把事情的經過告訴了媽媽，媽媽豎起大拇指夸我長大了。這就是一件趕小偷難忘的故事。
