寒假里我讀了安徒生的童話故事——《丑小鴨》。故事中的主人公丑小鴨出生在一個鴨的家庭，兄弟姐妹都長者一身金燦燦的羽毛，而它卻與眾不同，長者一身黑乎乎的羽毛，因此大家都不愿意理睬它，它十分自卑。后來，它長成了一只美麗的白天鵝。這個故事如果不仔細的閱讀，只會覺得它是一個普通的童話故事，要是好好的去體會它的含義，你就會認為里面蘊藏著一個道理。童話中的丑小鴨因自己的外表丑陋，遭到了周圍所有人對它的鄙視。可它并沒有在意，只管自己努力做事。慢慢地它長大了，憑著自己的努力，變成了一只漂亮的白天鵝。
這個故事告訴了我們一個道理，一個人身處逆境時，不能消沉，不能自卑，要勇于奮斗，才有可能改變自己的`處境。
我們的身邊也有不少這樣的例子。有的同學相貌不突出，平時也不大愛說話，沉默寡言，是平平常常的一個人。但他們從沒放棄對自己的要求，努力學習，不恥下問，成績始終名列前茅，受到了所有老師的稱贊。
其實，像丑小鴨似的孩子是很多的，只要我們大家敢于磨練自己，勤奮學習，長大以后一定都會成為一只只美麗的“白天鵝”。
