This summer vacation, I read a book called "the old man and the sea".

在生活中，我們遇到了困難，也許會迎難而上;但也會畏難止步。比如說張海迪阿姨，她小時候雙腳就已經殘廢，但是她并沒有向挫折屈服，而是以積極、樂觀、自信的態度去挑戰挫折。她每天把詞語貼在床頭、墻壁上、廚房……經過張海迪阿姨的不懈努力，她終于戰勝了挫折，而且還獲得了榮譽，為祖國做出了自己的貢獻。魯迅先生曾經說過：“偉大的胸懷，應該表現出這樣的氣概—用笑臉迎接悲慘的命運，用自信的勇氣來應付自己的`不幸。”是啊!當我們遇到厄運和不幸時，與其埋怨命運的不公，還不如鼓起勇氣，振作精神，以剛毅的態度與厄運抗爭。
老人不也是這樣的嗎?老人沒有被任何困難壓倒，他盡自己最大的努力與生活中的磨難做不屈不撓的斗爭。老人也說過一生令我最難忘的話：“一個人并不是生來就要給打敗的，你可以消滅他，卻不能打敗他。”當你遇到困難時，你一定不要被挫折壓倒啊!一個人的一生中不可能沒有失敗，但我們如果能夠從失敗中獲取有益的經驗，發現成功的曙光，把失敗看成是同鄉成功的必經之路。那才是從失敗中獲取的最大的收獲。
