初一英語詞匯復習:數詞小結（一）
在學完定語從句之后，同學們會接觸到的另一個語法項目是數詞。表示數目、多少和順序先后的詞叫數詞。數詞有兩種：表示數目多少的數詞叫基數詞，如：one，ten twenty-three；表示順序先后的數詞叫序數詞，如：first，third，twentieth。
1.基數詞
基數詞相當于名詞，在句中可做主語、表語、定語、狀語等。如：
Three of my classmates are from Shanghai.
I am twenty this year.
They have four classes in the morning and three in the afternoon.
2.序數詞
1)序數詞的構成：
大多數的序數詞是由基數詞加-th構成。如：seven―seventh；ten―tenth
以-t結尾的基數詞只在詞尾加-h。如：eight―eighth
以-ve結尾的基數詞改-ve為f再加-th。如：five―fifth；twelve―twelfth
以-y結尾的基數詞改-y為-ie再加-th。如：twenty―twentieth，thirty―thirtieth
幾十幾的序數詞只在個位數體現。如：twenty-one―twenty-first；thirty-three―thirty-third
特殊的序數詞：
one―first；two―second；three―third； nine―ninth
2)序數詞在句中同樣可做主語、表語、定語、狀語等。如：
June the first is Children’s Day.
When did you first meet each other?
She was the last to arrive.
3.數詞的用法：
1)表示年、月、日，“年”用基數詞，“日”用序數詞。如：May eleventh，2007
2)表示時間。如： It’s eleven twenty.
3)表示編號。編號既可以用基數詞表示，也可以用序數詞表示。區別是基數詞用在名詞之后，序數詞位于名詞之前，并加定冠詞。如：Lesson Nine；the Ninth Lesson
4)介詞 in one’s+整數數詞的復數形式，表示年齡。如：
She is in her early forties.(她四十出頭。)
5)序數詞前加冠詞“a”表示“再一次”。如：Can I try a second time?
6)在hundred，thousand，million，billion前有數詞時為實數意義，它們的詞尾不能加復數。前無數詞時為虛數意義，hundred，thousand，million，billion可加復數，并可和of連用，構成短語。如：five hundred students；millions of people

如何在高考前對單詞進行更加有效的突破？在有限的時間里我們應該做好如下幾件事：
1. 堅持天天背單詞
背單詞是一個需要堅持的工作，如果不勤加復習，用得較少的詞匯慢慢就會忘記了。所以應該每天抽出一點時間來鞏固單詞，比如在老師的幫助下集中學習《考試大綱》所列詞匯，擴大詞匯量；或是每天早上按詞匯表順序回顧復習單詞，并聯系其同義詞、近義詞、反義詞及其常用短語、常用句型和常用套語。注意把掌握不牢固的單詞作標記，下一遍重點復習作標記的單詞。對重點詞匯和短語，要多造句，在用中記，在語境中記。
2. 注意常用熟詞的生義。這一向是同學們比較容易忽視的點。
如：
1） She asked me for an advance on her salary. (n. 預付（款）)
2） The picture looked nice against the white wall. (prep. 映襯)
3） What you have said amounts to a plain refusal. (v. 相當于)
4） I must check my bank balance. (n. 差額，余款)
5） Hunger drove her to steal. (v. 迫使某人（做不好或不快的事）)
3. 掌握構詞法知識
對高考考試說明上所列的前綴和后綴要爛熟于心，前綴有五個dis, in, re, un, non，后綴有17個-able, -al, -an, -ful, -ive, -er, -ese, -ist, -ment, ness, -tion, -fy, -ian, -ing, -ise/ize,-ly, -teen，并熟記這些前綴和后綴的含義。
4. 歸納具有特殊形式的詞匯
如：只有復數形式的名詞。
1) 一些成雙成對的名詞通常只有復數形式，常見的有jeans (牛仔褲)、headphones (耳機)、trousers (褲子)、clothes (衣服)、pants (短褲)、glasses (眼鏡)、shoes (鞋子)、sunglasses (太陽鏡)、scissors (剪刀)、compasses (圓規)。這些名詞可單獨作主語，動詞用復數形式，也可用...pair/pairs of修飾，作主語時動詞取決于pair的形式。
2)一些食物名詞只有復數形式，常見的有noodles, vegetables, snacks。
3) 一些固定短語中的名詞只有復數形式，常見有的express one's thanks to sb. (向某人表達感激之情), a letter of thanks (一封感謝信), in high/low spirits (情緒高漲/低落), have sports (進行體育活動)。
4) 一些不可數名詞只有復數形式，但卻表示單數概念，常見的有news (消息), means (手段)。
As we all know, no news is good news. 眾所周知，沒有消息就是好消息。
5) 一些專有名詞只有復數形式，但卻表示單數概念，常見的有：the United States (美國)、the United Nations (聯合國)、the United Kingdoms (英國)、the Arabian Nights (《一千零一夜》)。
5. 堅持每天閱讀
在記憶詞匯的同時，每天要安排相應的閱讀理解，完形填空和短文改錯或閱讀表達練習，這是為了讓所記憶的詞匯在具體的語言環境中得以再現和運用，強化自己所記的詞匯。另一方面，還可以加強自己對語言信息的捕獲速度。
