初二英語作文：繁重的作業
In my opinion, the schoolwork now being assigned to high school students is too heavy. While it is true that students need to study, they need other things as well if they are to grow into healthy and well-rounded adults. High should be allowed more time for play. Plying is not wasting time, as some think. It gives them physical exercise, and also exercise their imagination. Which tends to be stifled by too much study. Finally, the pressure put on high school students by excessive schoolwork can cause serious stress, which is unhealthy physically and mentally. I do not advocate the elimination of schoolwork. I do think, however, that a reduction of the current heavy load would be beneficial to students and to the society as a whole.
我認為目前中學生的課業實在太重了，雖然說學生的確應當念書，但是要想長大成為健全的人，他門還需要一些其它的東西，所以應該給高中生較多從事娛樂的`時間。娛樂并不如某些人所想的，是在浪費時間，它可以讓學生鍛煉身體，發揮被繁重課業扼殺的想象力。此外，繁重的課業加諸在高中生身上的壓力可能引起嚴重的情緒緊張，這對身心都有害。我并非主張廢除學校課業，但是我認為減輕目前繁重的課業對于學生和整個社會都是有益的。

My English teacher, Mr. Jones, is a middle-aged man with thick glasses above his nose. We all like his classes, for he is always very active and has many ways to make his lessons lively and interesting. After class, he often plays table tennis with us. And at night, he usually works late and prepares the lessons carefully. When we told him that we had passed the entrance examination of senior middle school, he Was so happy that he jumped like a child. We all get along well with him. All of us still miss him very much after we have left the junior middle school.

His favorite book is "At the Villa Rose". I think it is a good detective book, too. I really think he will be a very good detective. He is my best friend.

When I was just a little girl, my relatives all said to me,"You are not a beautiful girl. If you want to be paid attention to, you must work harder than others."These words hurt me. So I wanted to be a beautiful girl, just like the Snow White. That was my illusion when I was five years old.
I grew up. When I was ten years old, I wanted to be a scientist. I believed that if I was a world-famous scientist, I would be noticed by people all over the world. I could do many good things for them.
Now I'm fifteen, I have my third illusion: I want to be a singer. Because I love singing. I love music. I even want to produce music myself. I also want to let the entire world hear my voice and my songs, though I'm not the best singer.
I know all these are just my illusions. Maybe they will never come true. But I'm still very happy because of my illusions.

Our parents love us very much. But sometimes we feel our parents love us in the wrong way.
Now, we are middle school students. Our parents don't want us to do anything except study. If we want to help them do some housework, they say,"You should read books in your room."Sometimes we want to make some toys, such as model planes or boats, but they usually say,"Better not do this, I can buy everything you like. It is important for you to study hard.”
Fathers and mothers! We know that you want to be good parents. But we have grown up and so we should learn how to organize our time, for study, housework and fun, by ourselves!
