一、教學目標:
1.知識目標:
。1)鞏固月份單詞;
。2)學習詢問生日的句型;
。3)了解中西方主要節日所在月份;
。4)了解同伴和父母的生日。
2.技能目標:
。1)能聽、說、認讀“詢問生日”的句型;
。2)能就調查生日的話題進行簡單的對話交流。
3.情感目標:
將本節課的教學內容與學生的生活實際緊密聯系,增強學生對英語的興趣,培養學生大膽開口說的習慣,增進學生用英語思維的`意識。
二、教學重點和難點
1.本課時強化第一課時的句型:When is your birthday? My birthday is in…并聽、說、認讀新句型:Is your birthday in …, too?
2.難點是引導學生根據實際情況使用多樣化的表達方式。
三、課前準備:
(一)教師準備:
1.根據教學內容制作的多媒體課件(①學生喜愛的明星照片 ②Let’s try 和Let’ talk以及本單元歌曲的VCD剪輯 ③Tree-planting Day, Army Day, Children’s Day, National Day, Christmas等節日的圖片)
2.準備蛋糕盒子一個。用蛋糕盒子底座做一份標有12個月份的大轉盤。用彩色卡紙剪成蛋糕形狀的圓形,再將每個圓分成12等分,寫上12個月的縮寫,擺成蛋糕形狀。
(二)學生準備:
1.知識準備:已學第三單元的Let’s chant, Let’s learn A, 本單元歌曲《When is your birthday?》。已學關于12個月的相關歌曲《The Months》。
2.學具準備:將一張白紙折成12個格子,每排4個,其中3個格子向后折;鋼筆。
四、教學過程:
Step 1 Warm up
。1)Song and Question:演唱《The Months》。老師和一名同學雙手高高搭起,模仿一張“網”。 當同學們歌聲響起,一部分同學手牽手,依次從“漁網”下鉆過。歌聲結束,教師和搭手的同學網住剛剛鉆到網下的同學。其他同學可以向被網住的同學任意提三個問題。被提問的同學若能回答對,可回到座位。否則,將聽老師或者同學指令做相應動作。該游戲可反復。
。墼O計意圖:讓學生在活動中唱英語歌曲,一方面復習所學12個月的表達;另一方面鼓勵學生相互交流,培養學生提問的能力。整個活動能讓學生在輕松愉快的狀態中學習英語。]

學生念到自己生日所在的月份,就要做出相應動作。

(3)Let’s say: “Which month is this?”
教師揭開蛋糕盒子,出現月份轉盤。教師先讓兒童看轉盤回答指針所指月份。再旋轉指針,讓孩子們猜月份。猜對者便可得到一份自己喜愛的月份蛋糕貼紙。
[設計意圖]由于月份單詞數目較多,只依靠一個課時的學習不足以使學生牢固掌握對12個月份單詞的聽、說、認讀。這個游戲就能使學生的聽、說、認讀能力得到強化。
Step 2 Presentation.

教師安排學生猜測幾個明星的生日,使用PPT呈現本課的核心句型:
When is his/her birthday?
Is his/her birthday in …?

。2)Write the words of the 12 months
Ask the students take out their paper. Play the BINGO game. Find the lucky boy or lucky girl.

T:We wrote nine months on the paper. Please look carefully and find which month is missing? Ask the students to write the rest words.
The teacher ask two friends’ birthdays, then write them down.
T:Now I know my friends’ birthdays. Do you want to know your friends’ birthdays?
S:Yes.
T:Please ask your friends like Miss Zheng.
[設計意圖]學生運用“賓狗”游戲所寫的表格,要求學生通過補充出表格中所缺少的月份單詞進一步操練單詞的書寫。在此基礎上過渡到同伴生日調查,教學重點從書面轉到口頭,從詞匯轉到句型。同時,利用調查的方式可以彌補大班教學學生開口機會相對較少的弊病。
(2)Give reports.
T:I have two friends, Miss Zeng and Miss Fang. Miss Zeng’s birthday is in August. Miss Fang’s birthday is in April. Who can give a report like me?

教師已將對話內容的教學光碟進行剪輯。相應內容已做成幻燈片,學生不允許翻書觀看。
T:Amy’s birthday is in February. When is Mike’s birthday? What about Zhang Peng? Let’s watch TV.
After two times, teacher asks the students to answer the questions.
[設計意圖]訓練學生在通過聽音在音、形、義之間建立聯系,并能就聽到的內容做簡單地預測。
b)Read the sentences. (教師點擊鼠標,出現對話文字內容)
c)Encourage the students to recite the dialogue.(教師給學生一分鐘左右識記對話內容,然后點擊鼠標,部分對話內容消失,請學生補充完整。)

五、課后反思
課前,我調查出學生最喜愛的明星,然后查找資料,做成相應幻燈片。實際運用中,非常受學生喜歡。評價工具的設計,也有效調動了孩子們的積極性,同時它和教學內容也渾然一體,與新課程所倡導的課堂評價的理念不謀而合。新課程強調以學生為主體,倡導體驗參與,在學習過程中,運用適當的評價,培養學生學習興趣,促進語言實際運用能力的提高。在這個教學設計抓住了學生的興趣點,學生在課堂上就能大膽的用英語交流、去表達。調動了學生的學習熱情。
