On October 1, I did not go out as usual. Since it was National Day, 67th anniversary of my homeland, like many people, my parents and I just sat in the couch and watch TV. We didn’t want to miss the program, parade. We were all excited when we saw such beautiful and magnificent scene. There were so many people gathered together to celebrate the 67th anniversary. From their smile, I can feel their happy, their proud and confidence. I feel proud there are many advanced weapons to secure our country. We, Chinese, are never aggressive. We love peace. We know how to secure the peace because Chinese is the victim of war. When I saw 60 flower buses passed through Tian An Men, I am so excited. I believe our country will have a prosperous future.

At 8:00 I got up and went bus station with my mother .O my god there were so many people!With difficult we got up the bus and felt very crowed.The traffic was so bad too!I cost nearly 1 hour that we arrived the center of street.
What were worse there were even more people!In my opinion it was not very interesting to come out at this day!Nest time I prefer to stay at home and study! The night of SThe National Day hanghai has never appealed to me. City born and city bred, I've got tired of the brightness of neon signs and the grandeur of skyscrapers in Shanghai.
But on this year's National Day, I spent a whole night roaming Nanjing Road and the Bund the symbol of the modern material Shanghai, with my roommates. It's the first time that I went out with them. With the huge amount of tourists, we could only wander with the cluster of people, having no destination. In the crowd, we entertained ourselves singing, joking and chatting, leaving all the worries, pressures and unhappiness behind,until mid night. Tired as we were, we still felt very happy. My roommates were quite impressed by the beauty, prosperity and the liveliness of Shanghai. But for me, all these were none of my business. What I treasured was the time I shared with them though that night Shanghai was so charming that she seemed to be one of the leading cities in the world.

Shichahai Lake in downtown Beijing was decked out with hundreds ofdazzling palace lanterns and colorful flags on Saturday evening, to kickoff a tourist festival highlighting traditional Chinese culture.Seated leisurely in a small boat cradled gently in the lantern-lit waters,Wang Lin, a 29-year-old teacher with Beijing Normal University, chattedhappily with her companions.
Wang, beaming in the twinkle of colored lights, called the boating aspecial start for her for the week-long national holiday which officiallybegins on National Day, tomorrow.
"I traveled during last year's National Day holiday, but got tired ofbeing crammed together with others," she said."So I chose to stay home and relax this year. And a rich treat oftraditional Chinese operas is not a bad choice for Chinese majors likeme."
In addition to large-scale performances by Peking Opera buffs during theShichahai Cultural and Tourist Festival, top rate Chinese artists in thefield will present their best on the stages of the city over the NationalDay holiday, which runs until October 7.
"Peking Opera has become an indispensable part of our annual National Daybanquet of performances," said Liu Lu, an official with the BeijingMunicipal Cultural Bureau.
Other kinds of performances are also scheduled.According to Liu, altogether 111 performances, varying from traditionalChinese operas, through dramas, music concerts and acrobatics to puppetshows, will be put on in Beijing during the National Day holiday.Among local officials busily preparing for the festival are also thoseresponsible for food.
Beijing's first green food fair, in which all the products are free fromchemical fertilizers and other kinds of pollution, will close today. National Day is coming,and we can have a seven-day.My family are going to Hainan.It's a good seaside city.We are staying there for a week.
