How to make friends
It’s hard to make friends if you stay alone all the time. It’s easier to make friends when you have similar interests. Don’t be afraid to show people what you are really good at. Talk about the things you like and do best to them. Be a good listener. Let people talk about themselves before talking about yourself. Be friendly to a lot of people. Try to help your friends when they are in trouble because a friend in need is a friend indeed. That way you’ll have a bigger group to choose from and have more chances to make friends.
Traditional Chinese festivals.

How are you? I’m really glad that you are interested in traditional Chinese festivals. There are many traditional festivals in China, such as Spring Festival, Mid-Autumn Day and so on. I’d like to introduce the Spring Festival to you. Spring Festival is the most important traditional holiday in China. It usually lasts for 15 days.
Days before the festival, people clean their houses. They think cleaning sweeps any bad luck. They decorate their houses with paper cuts. On the eve of the festival, family members get together and have big meals. Then they watch the Spring Festival Gala on TV. At midnight, they set off fireworks to welcome the New Year. During the festival, kids get lucky money from old people. People visit their relatives and friends. They wish each a happy year and good luck. How happy we are.

11th May Sunday Rainy
Today is Mother's Day. I love Mother so much that I've done many things for her. In the morning I bought many flowers with pocket money and put them in the vase. In the afternoon I went to the market to buy vegetables and cooked a simple but delicious dinner for my family. After supper, I gave Mother the card that I made myself and said "Happy Mother's Day" to her. Then I told her to pay more attention to her health and not to overwork. I also promised to help her do some housework from today on. Hearing the words, Mother was moved to tears. Today is a special day, warm and meaningful.
My life has changed a lot
When I was in primary school, I used to study four subjects, but now I have seven subjects. I used to like math, but now I find it so difficult for me. I used to like tests, but now I hate them. When I was young, there is little homework every day. So I had much time to play. But now I’m a middle school student. I have to study hard all day.
If we didn't save water, the last drop of water would be our tear-drop
Water is very important to us. We can't live without water. There is less and less water on the earth, but some of us don't take care of that. They waste a lot of water and pour waste water and litter waste thing into the rivers and lakes. The rivers and lakes are seriously polluted. We must do something to stop them, protect water well and save water. If we don't save water, the last drop of water would be our tear-drop.

One night in August when I was doing my physics exercises, I met a difficult problem. Forty minutes passed I still couldn’t work it out. The answer was on the last pages of the exercise book, how I wanted to see the answer! But my teacher told us to do my homework by ourselves. My sister was in a high school then. She’d like to help me. But I refused. I thought over the lesson I had in the day carefully, from one example my teacher gave us I worked the problem out. How happy I was. More than twenty years ago, my hometown was just a small, old and poor town. Most of people were farmers. There were few factories. The people didn’t have enough food to eat and wore old clothes. They had a hard life.

Protecting the environment is becoming more and more important to humans. It’s our duty to take care of the nature around us. Animals and plants are our best friends and we should share the world with them. We shouldn’t kill wild animals, and we must protect forests because they are animals’ home. We must plant more trees and grass, they can make the world greener. The more beautiful the world is, the happier lives we will have. Let’s do our best to make the world beautiful.
Keep our school clean
We are studying in this school. It is our duty to keep it clean and tidy. It is not good to spit in public places, such as in the library, in the class. We shouldn’t leave rubbish here and there. Don’t draw pictures on the wall, they influence the look of our school. We should keep the classroom clean and tidy. And we should do some cleaning often. My country life

The importance of water
Of all the things we eat and drink, water is the most important. We can live without food for many days, but two or three days without water, usually makes people die.

Early in the morning, we all set off for the beach. We took a lot of pictures on the
way. By noon we arrived at the hotel. After having lunch there we went to the beach. We were so tired that we spent the whole afternoon lying on the beach and swimming a lot. On the way back to the hotel, we went shopping for presents. In the evening it rained. We all stayed in the hotel and played table tennis. We had a good time today.

My life has changed a lot in the past three years. When I was in Grade 7, I was a short and shy girl with long hair. I often listen to music at home. How to protect/save our environment/world?
The environmental pollution is worse and worse /more and more seriously today. Water is polluted we have no clean water to drink Many trees are cutting down some animals is getting less and less. Some factories is poring dirty air in the sky the population is increasing faster and faster resources is getting less and less…etc. Not only does it affect our lives and health it also has a great affection in the future. people's health has been greatly affected by air noise and water pollution. Many people died of diseases. In order to live a better life we need protect our world.
We shouldn’t throw away rubbish everywhere. We want to recycle reduce reuse things .Don’t waste things This saves money and reduces pollution. Use things for as long as possible. We don’t use plastic bags . We must plant more trees and stop the people cutting them .We hope our world is more and more beautiful.
My Favorite Sport
I like sports very much, such as running, skating, playing basketball. But swimming is my favorite sport.
When I was six years old, my parents often took me to a swimming pool. They taught me how to swim. They told me not to be afraid of water, and told me to jump into water bravely. Later I became very interesting in swimming. Swimming is really very interesting .If you swim in the water, you will look like a lovely fish. Great fun. I'm sure you will feel very happy. And the most important thing is, if you swim, you’ll be strong.
