為了英語能考出好成績，幾乎每個家長都使出渾身解數，把自己的孩子推到各種輔導班。浪費了大量的人力物力，還有時間。可這對邊遠山區(qū)的'孩子公平嗎？外公所在的小學根本就沒有英語課，就是想上英語輔導班，也找不到地方。外公經常說：真不明白，為什么一個外國的語言卻決定著很多中國的孩子能不能上好大學，真是國家的可悲。是呀，農村的孩子到中學才開始上英語課，我們卻已經在輔導班把初中的英語課程學完了。農村的孩子出生便倒在了英語的起跑線上，可悲，可嘆。
我不反對學英語，英語也絕不應該和我們的語文數學同比，可以和歷史，地理這樣的小學科并列，這樣既可以把我們的傳統(tǒng)文化發(fā)揚光大，也給了山區(qū)，農村邊遠地區(qū)孩子一個和我們站在同一起跑線的機會。
