Everybody is good!
The title of my speech today is "cherish life, pay attention to fire"

今天是11.9全國(guó)消防安全宣傳日。今天，在周一升旗的時(shí)候我借此機(jī)會(huì)與全體師生共同說(shuō)一下消防安全的話題。
近年來(lái)國(guó)內(nèi)外學(xué)校火災(zāi)頻仍，根據(jù)國(guó)家教育部、公安部聯(lián)合下發(fā)的通知表明，2000年以來(lái)，全國(guó)學(xué)校(含幼兒園)共發(fā)生火災(zāi)3700余起，共造成44人死亡，79人受傷，直接經(jīng)濟(jì)損失2200余萬(wàn)元，各類火災(zāi)發(fā)生的原因，主要是大家沒(méi)有預(yù)防火災(zāi)的常識(shí)以及預(yù)防火災(zāi)的意識(shí)。比如2009年1月31日晚，福建省長(zhǎng)樂(lè)市拉丁酒吧發(fā)生特大火災(zāi)，共造成17人死亡。酒吧內(nèi)有10名左右男女青年開(kāi)生日聚會(huì)，在桌面上燃放煙花，引燃天花板釀成火災(zāi)。這就是典型的缺乏火災(zāi)常識(shí)釀成的'災(zāi)難。美國(guó)“喬治·華盛頓”號(hào)核動(dòng)力航母5月22日發(fā)生特大火災(zāi)。總計(jì)損失7000萬(wàn)美元，航母3800個(gè)艙室中的80個(gè)過(guò)火，受傷官兵達(dá)37人五角大樓、海軍和太平洋司令部都在全力調(diào)查此事。兩個(gè)多月后，公布的調(diào)查結(jié)果令人震驚——引發(fā)航母大火的居然就是一支香煙!這就是缺乏安全意識(shí)，在所有事故發(fā)生前大家都以為沒(méi)事。
火是一種自然現(xiàn)象。馴服的火是人類的朋友，它給人類帶來(lái)光明和溫暖，帶來(lái)了人類的文明和社會(huì)的進(jìn)步。但火如果失去控制，釀成火災(zāi)，就會(huì)給人民生命財(cái)產(chǎn)造成巨大的損失。
