使用方法
1.表示現在(說話瞬間)正在進行或發生的動作，常與時間狀語now連用。其他標志詞如Look! Listen! Don’t talk. Don’t be noisy.等暗示語境也用現在進行時。

2.表示現階段正在進行的動作或當前一段時間內的活動，常與these days, this month, all the morning等時間狀語連用。
例如：My brother is reading the storybook all the morning.

謂語結構由“助動詞am / is / are +動詞-ing形式”構成，其中“動詞-ing形式
各種句式結構
1.肯定句結構為“主語+ am / is / are +動詞-ing形式(+其他).”。
例如：I am doing my homework now.
She is writing a book this month.
We are watching TV now.
2.否定句結構為“主語+ am / is / are + not +動詞-ing形式(+其他).”。
例如：I’m not doing my homework now.
She is not / isn’t writing a book this month.
We are not / aren’t watching TV now.
3.一般疑問句結構為“Am / Is / Are +主語+動詞-ing形式(+其他)?”。肯定簡略回答為“Yes,主語(人稱代詞) + am / is / are.”；否定簡略回答為“No,主語(人稱代詞) + am / is / are + not.”。
例如：—Are you doing your homework now?
—Yes, I am. / No, I’m not.
4.特殊疑問句結構為“疑問詞+一般疑問句?”。對特殊疑問句的回答，不能用yes或no，而要根據實際情況來回答。當疑問詞在句中作主語時，現在進行時的特殊疑問句采用陳述句語序，即“疑問詞+ is / are +動詞-ing形式(+其他)?”。
